Business Leadership Program Application

The Business Leadership Program (BLP) is a selective experiential four-year program within the School of Business & Leadership. BLP students take special classes combining business and liberal arts, participate in field trips and internships, and have opportunities to meet and network with regional business leaders. BLP is an inclusive, supportive environment that welcomes students from all backgrounds and demographic groups and supports them in their personal and academic growth.

To be considered for BLP, you must submit several short answer responses, in addition to a complete application for admission, by Jan. 15*.

*The 2024 BLP application deadline has been extended to March 15.

All fields are required. Please note you will not be able to save your work on this application; it must be completed in one sitting and cannot be modified after being submitted.

Business Leadership Program Essays

1. What interests you about the Business Leadership Program? How might this program affect your short-term and long-term academic and career goals? (100 - 200 words)

2. Describe your most significant leadership experience or your role as an exemplary follower in a school or extracurricular activity. (100 - 200 words)

3. Discuss your academic strengths and relative weaknesses. (100 - 200 words)

4. Describe a situation you faced that presented an ethical dilemma. Briefly explain how you approached and resolved this situation. (100 - 200 words)
